Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between DIA and a normal internet connection?

DIA gives you bandwidth reserved only for your business, with symmetrical speeds and an SLA. A normal connection shares capacity with other users, so speeds drop at busy times.

Do you provide static IP addresses?

Yes. Every DIA circuit includes static IP addresses and DNS, sized to your needs.

Can we run BGP with Vision Telecom?

Yes. We support BGP sessions with a default route, partial or full table, for customers who multi-home across providers.

Can I increase my bandwidth later?

Yes. Upgrades are made on the same circuit with no additional infrastructure cost.

Do you offer a backup link?

Yes. We offer a secondary fiber or wireless link that takes over automatically if the primary path fails.
